December 21 Operation Nip and Tuck
Sept 26-27th, 2008
Operation Nip and Tuck VI, a free
spay-neuter clinic, will be held at the Carbon County
fairgrounds in Red Lodge on Friday, Sept 26, and
Saturday, Sept 27. This clinic is intended to help
low-income residents who can not afford to have their
pet fixed, or for people who are coping with too many
cats, especially feral cat colonies and barn cats. The
Beartooth Humane Alliance is seeking help in placing
barn/ranch cats in need of homes and also has house cats
available for adoption.
To make an appointment to bring
animals for surgery, call Karen at 446-9967, September
17 - 19 or September 22 - 23 between 9:00 am and 5:00
pm.
To borrow an animal crate or trap, stop
by the Beartooth Nature Center in Red Lodge after
September 21 or call 672-6960.
Operation Nip and Tuck is
conducted by the Beartooth Humane Alliance in
cooperation with the Montana Spay-Neuter Task Force. The
clinic is funded by Sands Memorial Foundation and
private donors. The clinic is receiving valuable
assistance from Wally Zook and Associates Aircraft
Finance, Rock Creek Laundromat, Alpine Lodge Motel,
Bogart’s Restaurant, Café Regis, City Brew, Red Lodge
Beverages, and Beartooth Market.
The clinic is in need of donations of
clean, used towels.
