Operation Nip and Tuck

Sept 26-27th, 2008

Operation Nip and Tuck VI, a free spay-neuter clinic, will be held at the Carbon County fairgrounds in Red Lodge on Friday, Sept 26, and Saturday, Sept 27. This clinic is intended to help low-income residents who can not afford to have their pet fixed, or for people who are coping with too many cats, especially feral cat colonies and barn cats. The Beartooth Humane Alliance is seeking help in placing barn/ranch cats in need of homes and also has house cats available for adoption.

To make an appointment to bring animals for surgery, call Karen at 446-9967, September 17 - 19 or September 22 - 23 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

To borrow an animal crate or trap, stop by the Beartooth Nature Center in Red Lodge after September 21 or call 672-6960.

Operation Nip and Tuck is conducted by the Beartooth Humane Alliance in cooperation with the Montana Spay-Neuter Task Force. The clinic is funded by Sands Memorial Foundation and private donors. The clinic is receiving valuable assistance from Wally Zook and Associates Aircraft Finance, Rock Creek Laundromat, Alpine Lodge Motel, Bogart’s Restaurant, Café Regis, City Brew, Red Lodge Beverages, and Beartooth Market.

The clinic is in need of donations of clean, used towels.

For more information about Operation Nip and Tuck, adopting a barn or house cat, or making a donation to the clinic contact Diane Zook at 672-6960 or info@beartoothhumane.org.
