ADOPT YOUR NEW
BEST FRIEND!
Ask anybody who has rescued an animal,
and they'll swear their bond with their rescued pal is
as deep as they come. When you open your heart and your
home to a pet who needs help, they really do show their
appreciation for the rest of their life!
Beartooth Humane Alliance (BHA) now has
animals waiting for you! Many of our cats and dogs were
members of someone’s family but due to life changes
could no longer stay with their families. Or, an animal
was found homeless with no apparent owner. When they come
to BHA, all animals are vet checked, spayed/neutered,
updated on all vaccines and provided a collar. Dogs are
temperament tested with methods developed by dog
behavior professionals, so we can make the best possible
match between a dog and a new family. Our adoption fee
includes all of the above plus microchipping for your
new pet and a pet-starter pack filled with pet food,
money-saving coupons, and a how-to guide for taking care
of your animal. All that, plus your pet will have 30
days of health insurance coverage free.

FOSTER HOMES
Until a rescue
animal shelter can be built, Beartooth Humane
Alliance (BHA) has launched a foster home program to
care for homeless pets while we find permanent, caring
homes for them.
We are seeking kind people with room in
their hearts and homes to foster dogs or cats.
-
All dogs and
cats are vet-checked and temperament-tested (dogs
only) before
they’re placed in foster homes.
-
As a fosterer,
you’re expected to provide animal care according to
our guidelines (mostly common sense). Veterinary care will be paid
for by BHA and
Science Diet food will be provided by BHA.
-
If you have
questions or need help with any aspect of the foster
animal’s care, we’ll be there to help you.
-
You’re expected
to care for the animal until a permanent,
BHA-approved home is found. Being homeless is hard
enough – we want to avoid moving animals from foster
home to foster home. But if you find yourself unable
to continue caring for your foster animal, we will
of course take it back.
-
Warning!
Fosterers often fall in love with their foster
animals and adopt them permanently!
If you may be
interested in providing a foster home and giving an
animal a second chance at life, please print out
our
application.
Completed
applications may be faxed to 406-446-3500 or mailed to
BHA, PO Box 853, Red Lodge, MT 59068. A BHA
representative will contact you upon review of your
application.
